A
denunciation is an aim of punishment and social control, its used to show the offender that society disapproves of their behaviour and its unnacceptable.

how does denunciation apply to morals?
A
eg. having sex before marriage is now acceptable by most people, but once it wasn’t. denunciation was used to prevent ppl from doing this as it shows that society disapproves.
