Diagnosis of alzheimers
A
CT brain scan shows dilation of the sulk and ventricles- cerebral atrophy.
Useful in patients with cognitive decline to exclude vascular disease (stroke/smal vessel changes) / normal pressure hydrocephalus / space occupying lesions.
