Lateral Meniscus
I- Posterior Surface of Tibia, superior to solid line
N- Tibial Nerve
A- 1. Weakly flexes knee and unlocks it by rotating femur 5 degrees on the tibia
2. Medially orates tibia of unplanted limb
Tibialis Posterior
O- Interosseous membrane Posterior surface of Tibia inferior to soleal line Posterior surface of fibula I- Tuberosity of navicular, cuneiform, cuboid, and sustentaculum tali of calcanelous Bases of 2, 3, and 4th metatarsal N- Tibial Nerve L4 L5 A- 1. Plantarflexes ankle 2. Inverts foot
Flexor Digitorum Longus
O- Medial part of posterior surface of tibia, inferior to soleal line; by a broad tendon to fibula
I- Bases of distal phalanges of lateral four digits
N- Tibial Nerve
A- 1. Flexes lateral four digits
2. Plantarflexes ankle
3. Supports longituinal arches of foot
Flexor Hallucis Longus
O- Inferior two thirds of posterior surface of fibula
Inferior part of interosseus membrane
I- Base of distal phalanx of great toe
N- Tibial Nerve L5, S1, S2
A- 1. Flexes great toe at all joints
2. Weakly plantar flexes ankle
3. Supports medial longitudinal arch of foot
