Describe facts and assumptions?
Facts are information thought to be true (or at the time true)
- basis for developing situational understanding, continuing planning, and assessing progress
Assumptions are guesses/theories about the current situation, future events, and activities
- assumed true until verified
- needed to continue planning

What is a PIR

They are always included in the mission statement as the WHAT
What are implied task?
Task not stated by higher and must be performed to accomplish a specified task or mission
(troops to task)
What is combat power?
The total constructive, destructive or information capibilities that a military unit can apply at a given time
