What is Hiprex?

A

HIPREX is indicated for prophylactic or suppressive treatment of frequently recurring urinary tract infections when long-term therapy is considered necessary. This drug should only be used after eradication of the infection by other appropriate antimicrobial agents.

What is mycophenolate?

A

What Mycophenolic acid, less accurately called mycophenolate, is an immunosuppressant drug used to prevent rejection in organ transplantation. It inhibits an enzyme needed for the growth of T cells and B cells.

In females of child-bearing potential, exclude pregnancy immediately before and during treatment.

Women should use 2 methods of effective contraception during treatment, and for 6 weeks after discontinuation. Men should use condoms during treatment and for at least 90 days after discontinuation of treatment; female partners of male patients should also use effective contraception during treatment and for 90 days after discontinuation.
