Can you disconnect the hydraulic pumps from the engine?
No as they’re connected.
Does the fire shut off valve cut off hydraulic fluid upstream or down stream of the pump?
Up stream so it’s running dry
What differential pressure does the PTU kick in?
500 PSI
Is the PTU inhibited during engine start?
It is inhibited.
What pressurises the HYD reservoirs to prevent cavitation?
The bleed air
What HYD system powers the following?
Reverser 1/2
Normal braking
Alternate braking
Gear
Slats
Flaps
Reverser 1 green and 2 yellow

How can you pressurise the blue HYDs without engine start (only 1 eng start required for this system as it relies on AC power available to start in auto mode)?
Blue pump override on maintenance panel enables to to pressurise the system on the ground
How do the wheels stop spinning before retraction?
Normal brakes for main gear
Friction pad in the nose wheel bay
What is the max speed the gear extension safety valve will be allowed to open?
260kts. This is higher than max speed. But stands true
Which LIGCU(‘s) control which gear down/up indications?
LIGCU 1 controls the 3 green lights
LIGCU 1 & 2 both indicate on the ECAM
Which system controls the NWS?
Yellow
How is steering controlled?
Electrically controlled by the brake and steering control unit (BSCU)

Normal

No. Only normal mode is auto braking available
