after presenting with CV disease such as angina, heart attack, stroke and claudication

lifestyle changes, control total cholesterol, control hypertension, anti-platelet drugs
how do you control cholesterol?
with statins
what is the target blood pressure in patients with hypertension?
< 140/85
what antiplatelet drug is used and when is it used?
aspirin, when identified CVS disease or when high risk with no identified disease
what should the dentist do to prevent cardiac diseases?
deliver general health messages and give smoking cessation and diet advice
