What is meant by good customer service?
1) Be helpful and respond quickly and in a friendly way to enquiries from customers.
2) Have enough training to ensure they know about the business and its products. This means they will be able to answer customer questions.
3) Good communication skills and give polite and clear answers, especially on the phone when they cannot see the employee.
What should premises do?
1) Be clean, especially where food is prepared.
2) Enable customers to get to where they need to go. Airports and hospitals etc. should be properly signposted.
