Orthodox/Hasidic Jew Traits

A

All hasidic Jews are orthodox but not all orthodox Jews are hasidic
Hasidic Jews have rules up and above orthodox Judaism
Kosher eating habits, no pork/shellfish, can eat meat with split hoofs only (no pigs), meat/dairy can never mix - separate kitchens, spoons must be wrapped, cups must be kosher should be unopened, water must be kosher
During Sabbath you cannot light a fire, no TV, UNLESS LIFE THREATENING SITUATION
Always ask if you can shake hands
Bury as quickly as possible after death, can donate organs
Women can only show faces and hands
Illness attracts stigma
