A

Intergroup contact
For there to be a reduction in prejudice there needs to be direct contact between groups under certain conditions:

  • Sustained contact
Spending time with someone makes you less likely to hold prejudice views against them
  • super-ordinate goals
Two groups are dependent on each other as they share similar goals, and to reach that goal they need to work together
  • equality
    Both groups are treated equally
  • mutual interdependence
Two groups are dependent on each other, eg. They may need something from each other

Cognitive intervention -
