shim stock - 8nanometer thick metal foil

A
- check occlusion with articulating paper
- adjust the thickness
- polish before cementing
- use ‘fit checking’ medium inside
- if it doesn’t fit right, then remake

when making adjustments, how thin should the crown NOT go?
A
less than 0.3mm

what are the steps taken when the crown does not fully seat?
A
- check for obvious defects and contact points
- adjust and retry
- use ‘fit checking’ medium inside
- if it’s still not fitting, remake it
OR
- check the prep for any remaining cement
- check for any undercuts
- check model for damage
