OC scene responsibilities

A

PLACEBOS RP

Ensure the scene is fingerprinted, PHOTOGRAPHED and examined by specialists before it is searched
Provide the communication LINK between scene and OC investigation
Establish a common APPROACH path between police cordon and scene focal point
CONTROL/Freeze/preserve the scene and ensure it is safe
Uplift, inspect and ensure delivery of labelled EXHIBITS to OC exhibits
BRIEFING staff on their duties
Coordinate and OVERSEE crime scene examination

Conduct a RECONNAISSANCE to gain an overall picture of the scene and testing possible reconstructions
PROVING relevant exhibits in court
