What are correlation techniques?
They are non-experimental methods used to measure how
the relationship is between two (or more) co-variables.
What words are associated with correlations?
association, relationship or correlation
What words are associated with Experiments?
IV and DV?
What is a positive correlation?
It is where one co-variable increases as the other co-variable increases.
What is a negative correlation?
It is where one co-variable increases while another co-variable decreases.
What are Co-variables?
They are the variables investigated within a correlation, these are not referred to as the IV and DV because a correlation investigates the association between variables, rather than cause and effect.
What is Zero correlation?
Zero correlation: where there is no relationship between
co-variables.
