Increases support services and emphasise independence for making decisions (housing, care decisions)

-must have a ‘permanent’ disability
-NDIS must be in the individuals geographic area
ORGANISATION 2 THAT ASSISTS PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY
Provides free Legal advice for people with a disability in NSW.

- Must be in NSW.
GOV POLICIES…
-National Disability Strategy 10 year plan.. (2010 -2020)
aims to improve the lives of people w/ disabilities, their family’s etc.
GOV LEGISLATION…
-National disability insurance act 2013.. established the NDIS group .. provides disabled people the choice and support over the caretaking decisions.
