Homeless 2 Significant Needs
Adequate Standard of Living–
Homelessness is defined as a lack of adequate shelter therefore food clothing and shelter needs are most specific.. without these adequate things, its difficult to survive.. This group relies on community and organisational support as they do not have the means.
Safety and security–
Rough sleepers are vulnerable and visible to the community. They’re prone to negative language and abuse regularly. Rough sleepers may be fleeing from domestic violence situations therefore in hiding and increases their risks and need to stay hiding, limits them from seeking support. Rough sleepers may be exposed to the elements. 66% of homeless have an addiction, groups decision making skills maybe impaired therefor putting their safety and security at risk.
