A
  1. Acute inflammation
  2. During soft tissue healing (e.g. following tendon repair)
  3. ROM limited by bone-on-bone contact
  4. Recent Fracture
  5. Hypermobility
  6. Hypomobility that allows for improved function (e.g. tenodesis grip)
  7. Acute pain associated with stretching.

  2. Malignancy involving bone
  3. diseases that affect the integrity of ligaments (RA and Down syndrome)
