How does the combined contraceptive patch work?
Works by wearing it for 3 weeks and then for the 4th week there is a withdrawal bleed
What happens if patch delay is more than 48 hours?
You change immediately and use barrier contraception for 7 days.

Endometrial and ovarian
What does the COCP increase cancer risk for?
Breast and cervical

take the last pill even if it means taking two pills in one day and then continue taking pills daily, one each day
no additional contraceptive protection needed
What is the rule if you miss two of your COCP?
If 2 or more pills missed you take the forgotten pill and then you also use barrier contraception for 7 days.
If missed in the first week of her cycle she will need emergency contraception
What is the rule if you miss two of your COCP and it’s week 3 of your period ?
Don’t skip the pill free window
