What are some characteristics of a consultee-centered model?
A
- Builds skills of Consultee, which indirectly helps the client
- Consultant is a problem-solving or skill-building expert
- Consultee has knowledge of the problem but needs skills to address the problem

A
- Focuses on the student, consultant directly helps the client
- Effective on single-case basis but not for groups.
- Time-intensive for the consultant

What is the behavioral model of consultation?
A
Solution focused model that collects data to effect behavior change in a person. Goal is to reduce the frequency of undesirable behavior by altering the relationship between the student and the environment.
