-class a child is born into can determine what sorts of experiences they will have.More likely to suffer from health and behavioural disorders.Children are more likely to be involved in accidents in low income families and w/c children are less likely to do well in education and perform worse than m/c
3)Ethnic or religious backgroud:
-British Asian children are subjected to stricter controls compared to their white and black peers
-Girls are less likely to be given many freedoms and there is an importance placed on respecting elders and showing honour towards your family
