A
At the post-contract project review. The structural timber supplier brought the project team a tape measure and pair of socks each.

A
Rule 1 - 1.2 - members and firms does not allow themselves to be influenced by others. (work referrals, gifts and hospitality/payments)

How does your company manage Gifts/Hospitality?
A
- We are to exercise good judgement and consider that the benefits are reasonable in value, auditable, and appropriate to the occasion and the roles of those involved (especially public officials)
- Record the item and ensure senior management are included.

When would you not accept a gidt/hospitality?
A
Never:
- Anything illegal, indecent, or offensive in any way
- Gambling
- Anything which could incite improper advantage or influence over a business relationship
- never request anything
- anything associated with conflicts of interest.
