o Cross-sectional technique that merges x-rays with advanced computer processing of the image. (tons of x-rays stitched together)

List the pros and cons of CT

o Pros:
- Highly detailed
- Faster than MRI or ultrasound
- Accurate measurement of osseus alignment
- Less expensive than MRI
- Less claustrophobic than MRI
o Cons:
- High radiation exposure (equal to 200 chest x-rays)
- Not good at visualizing soft tissue
- Only provide static images
