Devolved assemblies are very popular and there are no main patries. Both Scotland and Northern Ireland use different voting ystems (STV and AMS) both of wich provide much more representative result, with the number of votes = the number of seats won. Also scotland has prevented SNP dominance, with coalitions with the greens. In wales, both plaid Cymru and labour have dominated and had coalitions.
Devolution has solved more problems 3
Devolution has secured a peaceful environment for over 20 years a huge achievement. The good friday agreement in 1998 achieved compromise by creating a new power-sharing government and facilitating disarmament. Devolution has achiveed republicans and unionists working together to secure a oeaceful long-term environment iin NI. Cross-community support from both groups is required for legislation to be passed and by 2019 Northern Irish GDP per capita had grown 27% in real terms and continued to outperform Wales and the North East.
Devolution has created more problems 1
Voter turnout in devolved elections is lowerthan general elections, for example the metro mayersturnout averaged 29%.In addition to this the west lothian question still remians problematic, even though EVEL was introduced in part to resolve this, west lothian problem is too complicated and an unsatisfactory solution.

Devolution has created unrest in btoh Scotland and NI. It has increased the desire for scottish independence, the refernedum in 2014 has not resolved the issue despite a 55% to 45% vote in favour retaining the union. The northern ireland government has also been suspended many tmes and the province ruled by westminister. Though devolution was to resolve arguments inreconcilable disagreement between the 2 sides has led to many years of direct rule from westminister from 1998.

Much of England has no devolution at all, only mayors, even though interest in mayors is low with only 14 council areas in England are using the ‘mayor and cabinet’ system and voter turnout low at 29%. England has been short-changed for devolution, despite 83% of the population living in England, there is no english assembly, just metropolitan mayors and mayor of London.
