SNAP parvo tests do not give false positives

Supportive
Isolation, NPO, IV fluids plus potassium, antibiotics
H2 blockers
Maintain body temp

Vaccination MLV and killed (1m before breeding)
Isolate infect animals
Disinfect with diluted chlorox
Restrict puppy contact with dogs
CAV1
Canine hepatitis
vaccine induces immune mediated corneal reactions
CAV2
Respiratory tract, may induce kennel cough
Vaccination protects against both, no reactions
Leptospirosis
Affects dogs of all ages
Clinical signs: fever, depression, anorexia, pain, vasculitis
Treatment: penicillin
Prevention: vaccinate
