Communication Flashcards
One way communication
No feedback/guarantee message is received, unreliable, don’t have to justify message.
Shannon and Weaver communication model
Sender–>message–>transmitter–>form of transmission (method- place a barrier could take place)–> receiver
Two way communication
Message and response, feedback/confirmation received, pressure to justify so message is understood.
Vertical communication
Down the hierarchy e.g, subordinates receive info from managers. Up hierarchy e.g, sales assistant asking store manager about problems. Workers involved- mayo-manager involvement.
Horizontal communication
Same level of hierarchy, e.g a team.
