what is important in preventing it?
A
hand washing!!!

manifestations
A
- begins with dry, stuffy nasopharynx
- then increase in nasal secretions (discharge = clear, watery)
- erythema and edema of mucus membranes

treatment
A
- rest
- symptomatic management
