i) Two all-round red lights in a vertical line where they can best be seen;
ii) Two balls (or similar) in a vertical line where they can best be seen.
iii) When making way in addition sidelights and stern light.

A Vessel at Anchor
A Vessel Aground
Anchor Signal for Size + Three Strokes of Bell before and after ringing of the bell.
Intervals of not more than 1 minute
<100m: Bell Rapidly for 5 Seconds
>100m: Bell Rapidly 5 Seconds Forward - Followed by Gong 5 Seconds Aft.
May be supplemented by sound on whistle signal R . _ .
Aground >100m: Every Minute Bell x 3 Bell 5 Seconds Bell x 3 Gong Aft
May Sound (U - You are standing into danger *not R in anchor) . . _
Vessel <20m not obliged but shall make some efficient sound signal.

Rule 35: Sound Signals in Restricted Visibility
Vessel at Anchor
Intervals of not more than 1 minute
<100m: Bell Rapidly for 5 Seconds
>100m: Bell Rapidly 5 Seconds Forward - Followed by Gong 5 Seconds Aft.
May Sound .-. (R - not used for anything else) to give warning of position and possibility of collision to approaching vessel.
Vessels <20m Shall make some efficient sound signal (or <100)

Vessel Aground
i) Anchor Lights (not shapes) for Size + 2 All Round Red Lights in Vertical Line
- All Round White Light Forward
- All Round White Light Aft that is Lower
- Vessel <50m may show only 1 x AR white Light
- Vessel >100m shall use available deck lights.
ii) Three Balls in a vertical Line
