chuān zhe
着 zhuó is optional after 穿 and very formal/literary indicating “to dress”. For example, “他穿着很有品位” Tā chuānzhuó hěn yǒu pǐnwèi. (He dresses with great taste).
To indicate a continous state, 着 zhe is used instead. It’s used to express an ongoing state or the continuing effect of an action. This is what you would use to express that someone is wearing something. 他穿着… The action is: someone put the clothes on. The result / continous state is now that he/she is wearing them.
Although spelled with the same written Chinese characters, the tonal pronunciation changes the meaning.
