Transivity: The understanding of relationships among elements in a series.

Formal Operational stage
11-adulthood
- Mental actions on ideas
- Permit systematic and scientific thinking about problems, hypothetical ideas, and abstract concepts.
- Sense pf identity, complex thinking, appreciation of humour, development of personal relationships.
- Can also lead to adolescent egocentrism.
Adolescent idealism and rebellion against ideas.
