Dermal Circulation - blood Flow
A
- Haemoglobin that is bound to oxygen is bright red
- Dilated blood vessels causes skin to look red as blood flows closer to the surface of the skin.
- Constricted vessels cause skin to become pale as blood flow is not as close to the skin’s surface.
- Reduced supply of oxygen causes skin to become bluish -cyanosis
