EEG
Electroencephalography method to record electrical activity of the brain. It is typically noninvasive.
RAIU
The radioactive iodine uptake test, is a type of scan used in the diagnosis of thyroid problems, particularly hyperthyroidism.
Gram stain
distinguishes between Gram positive and Gram negative groups by coloring these cells pink or violet.
PCR testing
Lab investigation used to find small amounts of DNA in a sample.
Gonioscopy
Eye examination to look at the front part of your eye (anterior chamber) between the cornea and the iris.
Ophthalmic examination
Comprehensive series of tests that test your vision and health of the eye.
Blood culture
Checks for foreign invaders like bacteria, yeast, and other microorganisms in your blood.
Biopsy
Takes a small amount of tissue and it is then examined under a microscope
ECG
Look at hearts rhythm and electrical activity
Pituitary function test
Hormones can be tested via a simple blood test these include: cortisol, thyroid, prolactin, oestrogen, testosterone and growth hormone.
