Tends to persist through life. If it is along CNV distribution it may be associated with intercranial vascular abnormalities
What do you think if you see a midline spinal abnormality eg tuft of hair, naevus, swelling?
It could indicate an abnormality of spine of brain
eg Spina bifida, meningocoele
