What are the five kingdoms?
Animalia, Plantae, Prokaryotae, Protoctista and Fungi
Or animals, plants, prokaryotes, protoctista and fungi
What are 3 characteristics of the kingdom animalia
Multicellular, no chlorophyll and they ingest food
What are 3 characteristics of the kingdom plantae
Multicellular, contain chlorophyll and make food by photosynthesis
What are 2 characteristics of the kingdom prokaryotae
No nucleus and no membrane bound organelles
What are 3 characteristics of kingdom protoctista
Mostly unicellular, may contain chlorophyll and have a true nucleus
What are 3 characteristics of kingdom fungi
Multicellular, no chlorophyll and made up of microscopic threads called hyphae
What is the phylum porifera and 3 characteristics?
Sponges. They are stationary organisms, lack tissues and organs and body contains a single cavity with many pores in its walls making a system of water canals
What are 3 characteristics of the phylum Cnidaria
Have a bag or umbrella shaped body, gut has only one opening, the mouth and has a ring of tentacles around the mouth
What is and what are characteristics of phylum platyhelminthes

What is and what are characteristics of the phylum nematodes?
Roundworms. Have an elongated, round, unsegmented body with pointed ends.
What is and what are characteristics of phylum annelids?
Segmented worms. Have an elongated body divided into segments
What are 3 characteristics of phylum arthropods
