Classical Conditioning - LEARNING Flashcards
Define Learning
Is a relatively permanent change that is the result of an experience
What is Classical Conditioning
Classical Conditioning is caused by the pairing or association of 2 stimuli that results in a learned response
what is Unconditioned Stimulus
Something that reliably produces a naturally occurring reaction in an organism.
What is Unconditioned Response
A reflexive/ automatic reaction that is reliably produced by an unconditioned stimulus.
What is Neutral Stimulus
A stimulus that initially produces no reliable response in an organism.
What is Conditioned Stimulus
A stimulus that is initially neutral but has now been associated with the unconditioned stimulus by an organism.
What is Condition Response
A reaction that resembles the unconditioned response but is caused by the conditioned stimulus.
