Relevance
- Information that is relevant to the work and candidate’s ability to perform the job
Validity
- Accuracy of measurement obtained by a test or other selection procedure; refers to what a test measures and how well it measures it
Reliability
- Degree to which interviews, tests, and other selection procedures yield comparable data over time and alternative measures
Example: GPA would be relevant and valid for some types of jobs (I.e. Investment bankers), but not others (I.e. marketers)
