Responsible for delivering oxygen and nutrients to the body, and removing waste from tissue.

What is the Heart?
A
The heart is a hollow organ about the size of a fist, that lies between the lungs and is protected by the ribs sternum on the Anterior side of the body and Spinal Collum on the posterior side of the body.
