Why is adultery considered wrong in the church?
It breaks the sacrament of marriage - a couple are joined in holy matrimony

Sometimes it’s compassionate for adultery to take place e.g. if a woman is being abused by a husband she may turn to another man for comfort (liberal view)

Do not agree with adultery. Would be forgiving of someone who committed adultery as Jesus was forgiving but in principle adultery is wrong.
