  1. Blood film - smudge cells

2. FBC - lymphocytosis, anaemia, thrombocytopenia

What is the treatment?

A
  1. Asymptomatic pts w early stage don’t need immediate rx = OBSERVATION
  2. Advanced or symptomatic:
    Fludaribine + rituximab +/- cyclophosphamide
    Radiotherapy for lymphadenopathy + splenomegaly

A
  1. Anaemia
  2. Autoimmune haemulosis
  3. Infection due to hypogammaglobulinaemia (IgG)
  4. Richters transformation

A

when leukaemia cells enter the LNs and change into a high grade fast growing NHL
become unwell v suddenly
