Think about- Who can you contact for help? What will you do if they are not available? You need to be able to name the people you will turn to for help.

Rear-facing car seat, make sure car seat is in the back seat of the vehicle, baby needs to stay buckled into seat, make sure it is installed correctly.

Why are developmental milestones important?
They give a place of comparison for doctors and parents, this helps to find any issues or developmental delays that may be present. The earlier these can be detected the easier they can be corrected.
What are the 3 patterns of development?
Heat to Foot, Near to Far, Simple to Complex
What is the difference between Gross Motor Skills and Fine Motor Skills?
Gross motor skills involve the large muscles of the body. Fine motor skills involve the small muscles of the body.
What impact does brain development have later on in life?
The way a baby’s brain develops during infancy sets the foundation for learning and development later in life.
What does it mean to inherit something, give an example?
Children inherit genes from their parents, they are passed along. An example would be hair or eye color.
Why is talking to babies important?
It stimulates the brain and helps with language development.
