Treatment of Chest Pain / AMI
Perform 12 Lead EKG
Establish venous access x2 if able
Aspirin
162 - 324 mg
Nitroglycerin
0.4 mg SL
Every 3-5 minutes
Max of 3 doses
Morphine
2 mg Slow IVP
Every 5 minutes
Max of 10 mg
What consitutes unstable STEMI patient
Systolic BP < 90
HR > 150
SPO2 < 90
Time frames for Chest Pain patients
5 minutes to gather 12 Lead EKG
15 Minutes on scene time
Arrival at hospital within 1 hour
