Q

What is the Law of Conservation of Mass

A

In any chemical reaction, the total mass of the reactants is equal to the total mass of the products. Matter is neither created nor destroyed.

Q

What things can affect the rate of reaction

A

Concentration- With more reactants, a reaction proceeds more quickly
Temperature- The atoms heat up and move faster
Surface Area- if the surface area of a reactant is increased, reaction rate speeds up because more of the reactant is available to react.
