He is a Psychoanalytic person who emphasis the unconscious mind.

They emphasize observable behavior
What is Tabula Rasa?
Everyone starts out as a blank slate.
What is the Cognitive Perspective and who believed in it?
How we think and it was believed in by Jean Piaget (Swiss) and Albert Ellis (American). Emphasis Think and problem solving
What is the Humanist Perspective and who believed in it?
Emphasis Free will, the human ability to change/improve our lives. Believed in by Carl Rodgers and Abraham Maslow.
What is the Biological Perspective and who believed in it?
Believed in by Alois Alzhemier it emphasis chemistry and structure of the brain and body. (Genetics)
What is Sample Size?
Number of people in a study.
What is Experimental Research?
Used to establish cause and effect relationship.
What in an Independent Variable?
Expected to cause a change in another variable.
What is a Dependent Variable
Variable expected to change due to the Independence Variable.
What is a Control Group?
Receives no treatment.
What is an Experimental Group?
Receives the Independent Variable
What is the Placebo Group?
Receives a treatment but not the Independent Variable.
What is the Double Blind Technique?
When no one knows who the Placebo Group is.
What are Non-Experimental Research Methods?
Case study, Archival Research, and Correlational Research.
