1. Economically unsustainable
2. Dating becomes hookup culture
3. Responsibility is avoided

Adult attachment styles are heavily reliant on the attachment style formed with caregiver as an infant

- Secure
- Avoidant
- Anxious
Secure attachment
Positive view, easy to get close to others, not overly stressed about finding friendships or relationships
Avoidant attachment
hesitant about committing to someone, tend to push people away when they get too close
Anxious attachment
Demand closeness, less trusting, more emotional, jealous, and possessive
Intimacy
- Finding oneself while losing oneself in another person
- Self disclosure and vulnerability
