What is the consensus model?
A
- everyone works together on everything in the project until there is a consensus on what should be in each section
- it often takes longer than the team has and there is potential for major disagreement which may slow down progress

What is the delegation model?
A
- one person does the research, writing and editing, but consults with the team through out
- this allows the potential for miscommunication to the people who are not writing the piece

What is the collaboration model?
A
- the team will define tasks, create an outline and make major decisions together but different team members gather info and evidence for different sections of the document
- still has some potential of breaking down through lack of communication or task completion

How should you prepare to write in a team?
A
- assign members different sections to research
- communicate regularly through out process
- meet frequently to keep on top of issues and gain new ideas through group brainstorming (different perspectives)
- review the research & provide a summary of findings
- fill information gaps with any missing research

What is the suggested editing strategy for group papers?
A
- review content - all required info there?
- read + reread - look for style, tone & word choice
- double check sources
- revise for unity - appears like 1 person wrote
- review for mechanics
- review appearance
- print & double check again

A
- many people will review your document before endorsement by the company to ensure expectations are met
- these people are part of a review chain & help to improve overall product
