A

Senate: most powerful control public funds into cleared form policy, patricians – life term, advise consuls and assemblies
Magistrates: elected officials; consuls, praetors, censors
CONSULS: patricians, one year term, commanded army, chose Senate, could choose dictator, both had to agree
Praetors: helped consuls, in war- commanded armies, and peace – oversaw Roman legal system
Censors – registers citizens based on wealth, oversaw moral conduct of all citizens
Assemblies: voted on laws and elected officials, Palidian’s, elected to consuls, declare war or peace
