  1. Control of Sicily, lasted 23 years and ended in the defeat of Carthage.
  2. Young Cathagian General (Hannibal) who wanted to avenge the defeat. Won a victory but Rome eventually defeated him.
  3. Rome laid siege on Cathage. The city was set on fire and citizens sold for slavery.
