Describe the downfall of the Roman Empire
It was a slow decline, lasted 250 years. Caused by economic deterioration and population loss, birth rate and trade went down. Government became generally less effective, Roman armies relied on non-Roman recruits, and invasion of nomadic people from the north marked the end, as the civilization could no longer defend itself
