“The traveler wipes for three days, and the resident for one.”
The Madhab states that upon removal of footwear (socks, shoes) or the period ends purity becomes invalidated.
What does ibn Qudamah state?
There is no clear proof that upon removal of socks the طحرة is invalidated.
What ethar or statement of the companions is used to strengthen the argument that the removal of socks does not invalidate Wudoo?
Al Hassan: “If one cuts his hair or clips his nails or takes off his leather socks, there is no Wudoo on him.”
If one wipes while traveling but reaches his/her destination does she continue wiping?
No
According to the Madhab the turban must have what in order to be wiped over?
A tail.
Ibn Qudamah writes that there is no authentic proof for this. Though honorable people of the past would utilize a tail on their turban to differentiate themselves for mushrikeen and deviant sects.
What is the condition of wiping?
To have put the item on while in a state of complete purity.
What are the differences for women in regards to wiping?
None, except a woman does not wipe over turbans.
