If standing increases sickness then
one should pray sitting.
The daleel for sitting when sick is
Imran ibn Husayn “Pray standing, and if you cannot, then sitting, and if you cannot, then on your side.”
If one wakes up from a coma
He should make up for his prayers
If it is hard for one to pray during the prescribed time one can
Combine the prayers whether it is in the time of the earlier prayer or the latter.
The time in between combining the prayers should not be longer than,
the time to make wudoo
If one is going to combine starting with the earlier prayer
One must make the intention to combine.
The excuse for combining must remain until he starts praying the second.
If one defers combining until the start of the second prayer one must
- Still have the excuse for combining.
- He must make his intention to bombine during the time ofthe first before it is too late to pray it on time. (This is not a condition)
What other times do we find combining to be permissible?
- When one is traveling and has the concession for shortening the prayers.
- When it is raining and combining Maghrib and Isha, also Duhur and Asr.
