Make sure current address is on file with the Post. Inform any changes immediately.

Explorers are responsible for making sure the correct phone number is on file. If unable to have a phone, keep in contact with squad leader on a weekly basis.

Physical Fitness

Required to pass quarterly physical fitness tests.
Patrol and Corrections will be required to pass the LVMPD academy PT test twice per year. Patrol and
Corrections also be required to attend two PT sessions per month.

Question 4

Reporting for Duty

Always be properly equipped with equipment and show up on time for events by being both physically and mentally prepared.

Reporting Late

If late, Explorer must explain estimated arrival and situation to squad leader. If squad leader is unavailable, contact next person in chain of command.

Question 6

Reporting Absence

Answer 6

Notify immediate supervisor if unable to attend meeting. If unable to contact an immediate supervisor, the next person in the chain of command will be contacted. After each absence, the Explorer will be required to complete the Explorer absence form and turn it into his/her immediate supervisor. Specific reasons must be given in order for the absence to be excused.
