It was believed by the Aztecs to be the place the Gods influenced. Teotihuacan means: the city of the gods, or where men become gods.

The Maya were one of the early civilizations to understand the concept of zero. They used symbols such as a dot for 1, a bar for 5, and a shell for 0. With these symbols, it helped them to keep track of events.
